Rose Ann Dolores Russo Solazzo, born Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, New York. Rose Ann was introduced at a young age to the hotel business from her mother Lena, who owned and operated a local Motel, Bar & Restaurant.

Marrying Charles Solazzo at 18 they both lived and loved life with the utmost enthusiasm. They had two children, Gary Daniel and Michelle Nicole. In 1972 the Solazzo's relocated to California, and started vacationing in the Baja. 1993 Charles passed this world and Rose Ann continues her Baja ventures.

In May 2006, Rose Ann purchased the former Casa Terracotta. Using her creativity, ingenuity and expressing herself through her artistic talents of designing, she now offers this secluded hideaway: Posada Chabela, A Place In The Sun.
